Sign in for the post-conference excursions to Rokua and
Oulanka!You still have possibility to sign in to
explore northern nature. In Rokua
you will learn more about peatlands and grounwater formations.
Oulanka excursion will take to
the Eastern Finland, close to Russian border, in the national park to
e.g. shoot the rapids and learn about the long-term monitoring in the

Post-conference Course on Model Calibration and
Predictive Uncertainty Analysis using PEST - Sign by June
30, 2012!
The course takes place on August 16-22, 2012,
and it begins with the Rokua
excursion. Note that the number of participants is limited,
first ones will be accepted.

NHF grants for students and young researchers
The grants for students and young researchers are being processed. The
applicants will be informed the result by
end end of May,2012. (22.5.2012)
Fee reduction for students
Students and participants from Baltic and economically weak countries
may apply for a 200 € fee reduction. The reduction can only be granted
if the applicant has a presentation in the conference. Preference
will be given to the members of NHF.
Deadline for applications has been extended until May 30,2012.

Over 200 abstracts were submitted
The organizers received over 200 abstracts by
March 15, 2012. The number of submitted abstracts exceeded the
expectations, and we are looking for an interesting and
inspiring conference.
